At The Silvery Fair, we look for partners who blend heart, design, and everyday usefulness. Agegracefully is one of them. :)
A gentle beginning: why this brand matters
In 2017, Singaporean founder Tan Lee Tuan set out to solve a simple but very human problem: How can we help seniors move with confidence, comfort, and dignity, every single day?
That question became Agegracefully: a line of thoughtfully designed walking sticks that look good, feel sturdy, and add just-right features families and caregivers actually use.

Design you can feel in the hand
Agegracefully’s canes are beautifully made, often in lightweight carbon fibre, and many models equipped with helpful touches such as an LED torch, a red safety flasher, fall alarms (manual or auto), MP3/FM for audio enjoyment, and even lifestyle add-ons like a built-in umbrella or a fold-out seat.
Every detail serves a purpose: safer night walks, steadier steps in crowded spaces, less fatigue in queues, and a little more freedom on outings with family.

The collection at a glance (6 body styles × 4 handle models)
Four handle models (choose your control and features):
-
Ergonomic: Comfort-first handle with a clean, classic feel.
-
Essential: Adds LED torch, red flasher, and a manual fall alarm.
-
MP3: Everything in Essential plus auto fall alarm and MP3/FM audio.
-
LaserStick: Everything in MP3 plus a laser line and metronome beat for cueing.
Six body styles (pick your base and lifestyle fit):
-
CarbonBond - the Umbrella Cane
Sleek carbon-fibre stick with a built-in umbrella, made for Singapore’s weather. -
Small CarbonQuad - compact stability
A small quad base for extra contact with the floor while staying nimble in lifts and corridors. -
Medium CarbonQuad - bigger base, more support
A larger quad base for recovery phases or anyone who prefers a steadier, planted feel. -
Stickplus - the classic
A durable aluminum cane that covers the essentials and can be paired with advanced handles. -
Foldplus - the packable
A folding carbon-fibre cane that stows quickly for transport, dining, and travel days. -
Chairplus - support with a seat
A fold-out seat when you need a quick rest—perfect for queues, museums, and park strolls.
Tip: Think of body style as the “chassis” (base, folding, umbrella, chair), and handle model as the “controls” (lighting, alarms, audio, laser/metronome). Mix the two to match daily life.
Spotlight on LaserStick: made for Parkinson’s Freezing of Gait (FoG)
Some people living with Parkinson’s disease experience freezing of gait - that stuck-in-place feeling when the next step won’t come. LaserStick was designed with these moments in mind.
-
The laser line projects a clear target on the floor to visually cue the next step.
-
The metronome beat offers audio cueing to support a steadier walking rhythm.
-
You still get everyday features families love such as LED torch, safety flasher, and alarms, all in a slim, modern form.
A friendly note: cueing is a mobility strategy, not a medical treatment. It can help some people, and results vary. If freezing is part of your day, chat with your healthcare professional about whether LaserStick is right for you.

How to choose (quick, practical guide)
1) Fit & height
Wear your usual shoes. Stand tall with arms relaxed; the top of the handle should line up roughly with your wrist crease. You want a soft elbow bend which is comfortable, not hunched.
2) Base & stability
-
Standard tip -best agility on smooth indoor floors.
-
Small Quad - a little more stability, still nimble.
-
Medium Quad - maximum steadiness and confidence, helpful during recovery.
3) Lifestyle add-ons
-
Foldplus - for public transport, grab/gojek, taxis, dining out, and travel.
-
CarbonBond - for rainy days and sudden showers.
-
Chairplus - for queues, Michelin hawkers, and long days out.
4) Cueing needs
If Parkinson’s FoG is part of life, consider LaserStick (laser + metronome). Try it in calm and quiet settings first, then build into daily routines if it helps.
