LaserStick
The LaserStick is a walking aid designed to reduce Parkinson’s freezing by projecting a green laser line as a visual cue, guiding users to step forward safely. Combined with metronome-based audio cues, this clinically proven technique improves freezing of gait, a leading cause of falls in Parkinson’s patients, promoting safer, more independent mobility.
Parkinson's disease (PD)
Parkinson's disease (PD), the second most common neurodegenerative disease, affects 7–10 million people globally, with cases rising sharply over the last three decades. Freezing of gait (FoG), a common symptom impacting over 50% of PD patients, disrupts daily life and increases the risk of falls, injuries, and loss of independence.
